Professor Nakayama is a character in Tales from the Borderlands and the main antagonist in Borderlands 2: Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt.

Professor Nakayama was shown to have a very big crush on Handsome Jack, going as far as making an AI (Artificial intelligence) hologram clone of him. He also build an endoskeleton that Jack was going to use in order to gain immortality.

Professor Nakayama appears very briefly when Rhys and Vaughn walk through Shade's World of Curiosities. Rhys takes his ID chip and later uses it to try to track down the money. Plugging in the ID drive does not lead them to the money, but installs Jack in Rhys' head.

Nakayama was a very huge admirer of Handsome Jack. He wanted Jack to become immortal by using an endoskeleton that he was going to upload his mind into. When Jack died, he was obessed with cloning him. He succeeded by making an AI version of him.
